On 13th May 2016, an initiative ‘Prakruti’ was launched by the Ador Welding Academy at Pimpri, Pune. Prakruti which means the ‘nature’ which facilitates and sustains life and living on this planet, has been started with the objective of developing ‘WELDING SKILLS’ among women through training courses and facilitating employability.
This initiative was inaugurated at Ador Welding Academy Pvt. Ltd by MVML (Mahindra Vehicle Motors Pvt. Limited). The event was graced by Mr. Vijay Kalra, CMO –AD, Mr.Pankaj Sonalkar, CEO-MVML, Mr. Vijay Nair, VP-ERAD and AFS Head Admin & CSR, Mr. Rajneesh Vashisht, VP-CDMM, Ms. Aruna Advani, Executive Director-Ador Welding,Mr .Deep Lalvani, Director-Ador Welding , Mr. Satish Bhat, MD-Ador Welding and Mr. Raman Kumar, Chairman-AWAPL ( Ador Welding Academy Pvt. Ltd).
Prakruti is focussed on developing welding skills viz. Spot Welding, CO2 Welding, GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, FCAW process and will help women in gaining employment in the Auto Industry & General fabrication shops.

Women from various ITI’’s in and around Pune were selected based after thorough evaluations that included psychometric & technical knowledge tests and an interview round by seniors. The first batch of 23 recruits will underwent a rigorous training program in both Theory and Practical training for a period of three months at the Ador Welding Academy.
